Privacy Policy
At Joy of Birth we take your privacy seriously. We will collect some personal data when you sign up to our classes-this includes but is not limited to:
Contact Name
Email Address
Telephone Number
Addresses
We will also collect information on when you expect your baby to arrive, if you will be attending your class with a birth partner and any other information you wish to share with us on booking your class that is relevant to your Hypnobirthing journey.
Joy of Birth will never forward your personal data to 3rd parties unless you have agreed to it.
Personal data will only be retained for the period it is deemed necessary for legitimate business needs and will only be used for the purpose it was intended for(including but not limited to, contacting you about your class, giving you relevant information after your class, processing any payments and refunds)
All personal data held by Joy of Birth is available for the individual to request access to.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds will only be given if your baby arrives before your booked class unless you partake in a class at 37 weeks +.
By booking a class within your due period you are taking responsibility that your baby may come before or during the classes -no refunds will be given.
If possible,Joy of Birth will be happy to offer you an alternate date if you cannot make your booked class, however if this is not possible a refund will not be issued.
If joining an in person group class and you are required to isolate you will be able partake via Zoom - no refunds will be given.
In the unusual event of Joy of Birth having to cancel a class we will look at rescheduling the class or moving you to an alternative date. If this does not work for you a refund will then be processed.
I am a birth doula and could be on call during a booked class, I will always make you aware when I am on call and that there is a possibility I may need to attend a birth. If this is the case we will look at rescheduling the class and if this is not possible a refund (pro-rata if we are part way through the course) will be issued.

When taking part in our classes you agree that Hypnobirthing is intended as a birthing aid and we cannot promise or predict the out come of your birth and labour. Any persons or third party taking part in our classes does so with the knowledge that they agree to take no litigation or legal action against Joy of Birth and its instructors and that no refunds or compensation will be claimed now or in the future.
Gift Cards
Gift card purchases are final and refunds will not be issued.
Gift cards do not expire and will be valid until used.
Please bear in mind that if purchasing a gift card to be used for in person doula or hypnobirthing services that I work within London postcodes only with a total of 1 hour travel time.
